All prices in USD. These ranges are estimated base prices, meaning they can get higher depending on complexity of your comm, number of characters, alts, etc. My prices are flexible and can be negotiated, we will decide the final price together~ Payment plans and other options are also possible, see more info in tos/#payment
NSFW comms preferred. Also note that I don't do stickers, refsheets, badges and icons at this time
You can see more examples on my pages, for example e621 or FurAffinity
I can do illustrations and comics in two styles: sketchy and painterly. Sketchy style is more rough and quick, with flat color (or even monochrome) and simple lighting. Painterly is my usual style, it's more neat and detailed, with full background, elaborate lighting and oil painting vibes. A mix of the two styles is an option too, plus both of them can include fun experiments~
I started to experiment with animation recently! I'm currently interested in short frame-by-frame animations. Price per frame! For example: a 2 seconds long animation at 10 frames per second and at the price of $15 per frame will be 2 x 10 x 15 = $300
Each additional character adds 25-100% to the base price, depending on their complexity, position, screen space they take, etc. For example: a threesome piece with the base price of $200 and two characters +25% and +50% would be 200 + 50 + 100 = $350
Special offer! Want a duo or trio piece but can't decide who will take the extra spot? My sona Taily (examples on e621) can be used as a spare character! He's a switch and can take any spot, and I won't charge you for him~
Alts are additional versions of main artwork: clothed/naked, sheathed/erected, clean/cummy, etc. Price of alts depends on the amount of extra work. Sometimes I do cummy alts for free~
About deadlines: if your comm needs to be done by a specific date, make sure to approach me at least a week in advance. I might refuse a deadline but if I accept it, I'll put everything else aside and focus on your comm. The fee depends on how big your comm is and how soon you need it done.
FOREWORD
hey there~
In order for you (the client) to commission me (the artist), we must meet at a designated notary bureau in person and sign our contract in the presence of a certified lawyer. To highlight the importance of this legally binding agreement, we must keep the most serious faces physically possible for the entire length of the contract. 👔The first to blink loses~ Jokes aside, one of the best things about indie art is that we can drop all that formal bullshit and talk like living beings. This site is a friendly guide to help you navigate through the process, from discussion to result. Points of attention are highlighted!Got any questions, want to discuss your idea, or just wish to chat? Go ahead and hit me up anytime on Telegram or Discord! I'm a chill kitty and don't usually byte~
You don't have to provide proof of your age, but you better be over 18. If you're not 18 yet, just wait until you are, okay?
I don't actively monitor my clients, but if I find out that you promote conspiracy theories, oppressive political ideas and other bullshit, I'll kick your butt >:3
If your account is super new, blank, or otherwise sus, I might ask some questions to make sure you're a genuine client and not a scammer or something.
Please do repost, do distribute, do share my art with all your friends and enemies! I'd never refuse free advertisement~

Feral – I like feral stuff! All my feral porn is PETA-certified: no animals were harmed during the drawing. On the contrary, they were evidently enjoying themselves~
Tasteful design – tastes and aesthetics can certainly be diverse and unusual. Personally, I prefer variations of natural coat colours and patterns. Toxic colours and odd patterns better be thoughtful and artistically justified. In very rare cases, I may refuse to draw poorly designed characters.
"No homo bro" – let's imagine that straight guys exist. After all, it's not gay to help out your bros, especially if <insert a condition that doesn't make it gay>~
Revenge – "Hey, you ate my last cookie! That's it, you're not getting away this time!"
Magic/Paranormal – ghost cocks, characters using telekinesis and spells, drinking potions and so on.
Incest – I'm interested in siblings fun: brocest and twincest, maybe also brother/sister.
Ancient civilizations – settings inspired by aesthetics of ancient Maya, Egypt, India, Greece and other civilizations. I don't aim to depict those cultures accurately, they are just a general design inspiration.
Copyrighted characters – generally, I encourage rule 34. Poor little corporations like Disney should get used to their intellectual property getting fucked in every possible way. However, usually I prefer to draw original characters.
Vagina – I might not be the right artist to draw characters with vagina and breasts, and unlikely to draw vaginal sex because I'm a very gay cat.
> A note on genders – for my work, physical features of your characters are important because that's what I'll draw, while their gender can be any. The features are: Penis is yes, Vagina and Breasts are maybe.Substances – I'm not into mind-altering and addictive substances, except for caffeine. Weed stuff might be alright as subtle details. Funny fictional substances (potions, edibles) are alright~
Bedroom – too many furry lewds take place in a generic bedroom, and it's hecking boring! I'll probably be insisting on a more interesting setting~
Holidays – there's already an abundance of art offers on every popular holiday. If you want a holiday-themed artwork specifically from me, let's come up with an unusual and fun idea rather than a generic one.
Religion – I might agree to include some religious symbols if it's a crucial part of your character or setting. Original and satirical religions are alright, so are atheist symbols.
Politics – from flags of countries and political movements to overall politically charged ideas. I'll only consider the ones I feel positive or neutral about. Generally though, it's not what I'm looking for.
Various fandoms – for example: Warhammer, WoW, Star Wars, The Elder Scrolls, D&D, Minecraft, etc. Whether I'd be interested depends on the idea.
Cub – cub art can be fun, but it's not something I'm looking to draw currently. I might make it a maybe in the future, we'll see. All my potential cubs would be over 21 years of age, of course.
HIT ME UP
commission template
Here's a list of things that you should tell me about your comm~ Please send random arts or photos that help convey your ideas: poses, background, mood, style, etc. Whatever helps getting us on the same page~ If you only have a vague idea, let's brainstorm it together!
Characters
Who are they, what's their vibe? Send refsheets and/or arts with them~
Poses, Actions, Expressions
What are they doing exactly?
Background
Where are they doing such unspeakable things?
Time of day, Weather, Mood
It affects how I work with lighting and colours.
Technical details
Aspect ratio, resolution, etc. If you don't have any specifications, I'll go with what I think works best~
Artistic freedom
If you like surprises, you can just throw your character at me and let me decide everything else myself~
communication
Please try to use English to the best of your ability. Write full sentences, and don't be afraid to be direct. I'm usually a straightforward cat myself: when I have questions or concerns, I just speak my mind! I encourage you to do the same so we could avoid misunderstandings~ Please take your time, there's usually no rush! I'm a patient kitty, and if you need more time to figure stuff out or sleep on your idea, just tell me and we'll take a break~Also you might've noticed that I prefer a more informal and chill communication style. After we've settled on your comm, I don't mind our chat to shift off-topic or get a bit silly, especially if we vibe together nicely~ I like making frens along the way :3
PAYMENT
price discussion
Setting prices is hard! I totally get that not everyone is able or willing to spend $300+ on art. People come from different countries with different economic conditions and unique financial situations, that's super understandable. That's why my prices are flexible and can be negotiated~I'll suggest a more precise price based on how much work your comm will probably take. The price isn't set in stone yet, so don't run away please~ If it's too high for you, just tell! We can revise the idea and see how to simplify it. It's also helpful if you tell your budget (how much money you expect to spend on your comm). Also don't forget that I offer several payment options that might make it easier for you~Or maybe you have good income and stable financial situation? Maybe you're even one of those suspiciously wealthy furries~ I get clients sometimes who go like "price isn't a problem, just tell how much you wanna charge and I'll pay". If you're one of those lucky bastards, indicate it somehow so I wouldn't hold back~ ;P
payment options
I use PayPal. I'll need your email to send an invoice to. It'll have no due date and options «allow tip» and «allow partial payment» enabled.I prioritize your convenience! My experience with clients has been pleasant so far, and I assume that you're a trustworthy bean and will do your best at paying off your comm and following our other agreements~I won't be like "pay within 24 hours or I'll come for you". There's no rush~ You may pay whenever you're ready, but keep in mind that I'll add your comm to my QUEUE only after receiving at least a partial payment! Even 10% would be enough as an assurance that you're serious. Here's a few flexible payment options for you to choose from:
Full upfront
Most clients pay in full right away. That's nice, but not required if it's not convenient for you.
Several payments
Aka «payment plan», great for big pricey comms~ It doesn't have to be scheduled, just throw moneyz on the invoice bit by bit until the full amount has been paid~
After your paycheck
You get paid in a couple weeks, or want to send one part now and another part after your next paycheck? That's totally valid~
Split the cost with a buddy
Easy~ The price can be split 50/50 or any other way, whatever you decide between yourselves. I can send separate invoices to each of you.
refunds
Refunds are super undesirable because doing comms is my main source of income, and I'm far from swimming in cash. Again, I encourage you to take all the time you need to think whether you actually want an artwork from me, whether you will be able to pay it off, and whether you're fine with my wait times. Remember that you may cancel your commission even after I've sent the invoice, but once you've paid – you should consider this money spent. To date, there's been zero refund requests, and I'd like to keep it that way.Refunds might be possible in super rare and very special circumstances, for example in case of serious emergency in your life when you suddenly need money more than I do. I'd be understanding about that and see what I can do.
PROCESS
wait time
Okay, so I've taken your comm. What's next? For now, there's no more actions required from you, except for replying to my possible questions and maybe adding more details if you forgot something. Other than that, just be patient and wait~ I'll add your comm to my QUEUE with a timer starting on the day you've paid. This way you can easily keep track of how many days have passed, and check your position in the queue anytime. Please keep in mind: before I start your comm, I must finish earlier comms first (those that below your comm and have a timer). This period will likely take most of your wait time until I get to your comm. It may sound intimidating, but don't worry – on average, I manage to finish 3 comms per month. Most comms are delivered within 1-5 months, and the average wait time is around 3 months. That's also why I allow several payments, so clients could use that time to pay off their comms with no pressure~
edits
Once it's finally your turn, I'll be showing you updates throughout the process. Do look at them carefully, because each update is an opportunity for you to suggest changes if you spot something that needs correction. I don't have specific limits and will consider your suggestions case-by-case. Here's a guideline:
Good edits to suggest
I'm a cat, I have paws and make mistakes. Sometimes I miss little details like piercings or markings – it's rare, but make sure to tell me if that's the case! If you spot some sort of weirdness, feel free to point it out as well. Also, if you got an idea that might meaningfully improve the piece, tell me and we'll see if it's doable~
Bad edits to suggest
Generally, these are suggestions that require a lot more work than has been paid for. For example, constantly changing your mind or trying to fix what's not broken. I'll likely decline such suggestions unless there's a good reason, or if you want to do a paid upgrade.
Upgrades
These are edits that significantly change the piece mid-way, like adding one more character or changing background. I might refuse to do an upgrade, but if I agree, we'll negotiate a fair fee for the extra work.
Final and post-final edits
Throughout the work, you'll know what you're getting. When it's almost done, you should confirm that everything is good. It's your (almost) last chance to point out if I missed something, so make sure to check it thoroughly! After I've sent you the final files, I don't expect to edit them again, though exceptions might be negotiated.
actual queue order
For various reasons, I don't always follow the exact order in which comms were taken. Here's a few things that might affect the actual order and wait times:
Complexity
The more complex your comm is, the more work it requires and the more time it takes. Tricky ideas often involve a lot of brainstorming and planning, so I might let a complex comm sit for a bit, and get to a simpler comm in the mean time. For example, if I took two big comms then one smaller one, I might do the smaller one first and then get to the big ones.
Deadline
That's simple: if I took a commission with paid deadline, I give it top priority and focus on it until it's done. Deadlines are super rare though.
Happy accident
Sometimes I make a sketch just for fun, and it's vibing so nicely that I end up finishing the entire commission. Or maybe I'm excited about a particular comm so much that I can't sleep, can't eat, and can't cum until I finish it, even though it's not its turn yet.
[queue free] commissions
You can find a couple comms in the QUEUE with this marker. "Queue free" comms are unusual and complex ones, and their clients specifically allowed me to take as much time as I need, regardless of their position in the queue. When counting how many comms left before yours, you can simply ignore the [queue free] ones as they're unlikely to affect your wait time.
RESULT
Main stuff
Once the work is done, I'll send you PNG files in full quality and resolution (or GIF/MP4 for animation comms). You can also request JPG files if you need smaller file size.
Extra stuff
Sometimes I do free bonus stuff at my own discretion, like painting timelapses and extra alts. If I made something like that, I'll send it your way as well~
please give me a little review~
After you received the artwork, please spare a few minutes to give me a short review~ I'll send you a simple Google Form with two questions: the first is to rate Communication, Wait Time and Result Quality on a scale from 1 to 5, and the second is to write a couple sentences about your experience with me~ You can see some examples on the page QUEUE, that's where I'll post your review too~
USAGE
I don't use copyright laws as reference – rather, I believe in the flexible principle of mutual fairness. I'll simply list some usage points that I think are important, and if you have questions or objections – just tell me and we'll discuss it~
from my side
Work-in-progress posting
During the work, I may post sketches, teasers, and other wips of your comm on my Patreon. I may also share them in private and public chats.
Final posting
I may post finished artworks on any social media, galleries, image boards and public chats as an example of my work. Make sure to tell if you want me to include your nickname or profile link in descriptions.
Use in decorations and ads
I may freely use the artwork in collages, banners and such to decorate my pages and advertise my work.
Reuse of assets
Asset is a universal fragment of an artwork that can be easily reused: a tree, a cloud, a cum drip, etc. Don't worry, it won't make your comm any less unique, but it might make the process a bit easier and faster~
from your side
Public posting
When uploading the artwork on social media, please don't crop or alter it. You don't have to mention me in descriptions, but I'd really appreciate if you do! It helps others to find me~
Personal use
Feel free to use the artwork as your pfp or banner, print it, turn it into a sticker and such. It's fine if my signature gets cut out.
Commercial use
Make sure to tell me if you want to use my art in commercial stuff somehow, especially if that's why you commissioned in the first place.
Weird use
I trust that you won't use my stuff for some weird purposes, like that NFT thing. If you're unsure about something – feel free to ask!

This is the second time I've commissioned Tailbyte and once again, I'm so glad that I did. The characters, colors, and composition came out excellent, in a surprisingly short amount of time. Tailbyte was promt, kind, professional, and highly skilled. Communication was frequent and they were willing to make suggested edits without complaint- even when doing so resulted in additional work for them. I would highly reccomend tailbyte if you are looking for a skilled and curteous artist and I will absolutely be working with them in the future!

Tailbyte has been an absolute joy to work with. The commission process was fun and easygoing; the initial 'ideas' phase was a quick and easy back-and-forth, where I shared my ideas and Tailbyte made (much better!) suggestions. He was also very up front about the wait time, which I had absolutely no problem with. Once the commission was started, Tailbyte provided frequent updates, and was more than happy to oblige me on a couple small changes I asked for. And, of course, the piece itself turned out phenomenal! I could not be more happy with the work Tailbyte has done, and I highly recommend him to anyone interested in commissioning him!

Great communication with the artist. We had a great discussion to find the project idea. When they started, they were keeping me up to date with the progress throughout the whole process. They were keen on fixing any issues I might have found, and rework some details.
The resulting artwork looks great, and is of high quality.
When it comes to wait time, it was definitely on the longer side of things, but it worked out in my advantage in the end since I was waiting for new reference material.
I would definitely recommend them to everyone and will look forward for future collaborative work with them.

It was really easy to communicate and brainstorm ideas for the commission, and tailbyte was open to making adjustments to get the commission just right. The wait time was exactly what was quoted, and was not unreasonable for the amount of work needed to complete the commission. I am absolutely thrilled with the quality for the finished piece, and has quickly become my favorite commission. I already have, and will continue to recommend tailbyte for commissions as the process and finished art was a top notch experience.

I really enjoyed commissioning Tailbyte! Other than a few core ideas, I gave him artistic freedom to suggest improvements and design the piece as he saw fit, and I think that was the right decision!
I got a bit lucky that my piece made it to the front of the queue in record time, but I would have gladly waited longer if I had to! Turn-around time once the piece was started was quick, with lots of WIPs and progress updates. And the piece turned out even better than I could have imagined, super detailed and high quality, and exactly the vibes/mood I was going for!
Overall I would highly recommend commissioning him if you get the chance! I certainly hope to do so again in the future.

Nick: It was really easy to communicate with tailbyte one of the best artists I've communicated with. Tailbyte had a set date that the art piece was suppose to be done, and worked hard to get the art piece done well before the date. The art work is definitely a piece I'll be cherishing for a long time. Yes, tailbyte was one of the best experiences I had getting art from an artist. I'll definitely be recommending him to others.Tyler: Tailbyte is an amazing artist!! They did incredible work on the piece and provided a finished result that is gorgeous and something I will truly cherish forever. Tailbyte is very easy and fun to communicate with (and Taily is adorably cute). Wait time was communicated very directly upfront and the actual wait time, while long, was almost exactly what they quoted before we entered the queue. I know I’ll definitely be seeking out their services again in the future and I’d recommend others do the same! Thanks tailbyte!!

Cosmo: What everyone else has said is true: the wait time is long, but it's so so worth it. Tailbyte was there every step of the way, showing us almost-daily updates and asking us for our input. I would 1000% recommend him, and I can't wait for my next commission :3Nox: Phenomenal to work with, providing consistent communication, WIP updates, and openness to making slight revisions throughout the process. Well worth the wait in queue to get a quality piece of artwork in return, especially given the painted style, shading, and light details which set the ambience perfectly. Look forward to getting another piece done in the future. Recommend the good kitty paws down!

Tailbyte kept me clearly updated every step of the way regarding the art process and timeline. The wait time was actually shorter than expected in my opinion since I had such timely updates. I have already recommended them to a few friends so absolutely!

Tail is very easy to talk to, especially for a CAT. You may have to distract him on occasion with stickers or he will bite. I'm very happy with my kobold, he is precious to me as I have played him in DND for years now. If you have money this cat is good at art.

Tailbyte really is a fantastic artist. For me personally, I love his art style and it reminds me a lot of the old German Story/Art books I used to have as a kid. While the wait times vary, sometimes a couple weeks to a couple months, the wait is worth it. He was in constant communication with me throughout the whole wait, gave me updates and was a pleasure to speak with. And honestly, the wait wasn't the worst thing in the world. It lines up with some of the best artists out there and that should tell you a lot. I really would recommend commissioning him, because I'm definitely happy with what I got, and will definitely get another.

Art is spectacular, love the soft brush. Somnus look so fluffy and kissable. It was cool Tailbyte did those alts, my Boyfriend is losing his mind over the finished product, he loves it almost as much as I do. Every time we spoke Tailbyte was kind to me and communicated very well about the specifics of my commission. The commission took a little bit to get done but Tailbyte had a lot to do before getting to my slot, so that's understandable. You can't crank stuff like this out in an hour, after all. I'm a 10/10 satisfied customer in the end

Tailbyte is always nice to work with, they have good communication, especially with the slightly longer wait times (a lot of detail goes into their work), but the time spent waiting is definitely worth it if you see the results

Ray blew me away with my wickerbeast commission, I originally asked for a sketch and was delivered a fully coloured piece. It's one of my favorite artworks I've added and Ray converted it into a telegram sticker for me too. The artwork itself is amazing and realistic.

For the waterfall art piece, I very much enjoyed the way Tailbyte integrated my character into the YCH, it felt like he was part of the picture since the beginning. The surroundings themselves are amazing, you can see the water droplets flying off of the rocks. In terms of communication, Tailbyte will either message you yourself or whenever you ask them for an update, and they are very nice to work with.

Ray is helpful and responsive with their work. I had a vague idea of what I wanted and they helped me realize it clearly in a wonderful way. I received several work in progress pieces and knew exactly what I was getting. Ray went above and beyond and gave me a sticker version of my commission. Amazing art for an awesome price. It's realistic and stylized at the same time, I strongly recommend this artist.

The ref sheet for my character Zoël looks great. I love the small details like the raindrops, thunderbolt and rocks to represent how he's a weatherman. The descriptions and add-ons on the ref sheet are also very clear and fitting, as well as the words that describe his personality. It was done within a reasonable wait time and the communication Tailbyte provided was more than sufficient. Any time you ask Tailbyte for updates they will answer as quickly as they can, and otherwise they'll message you themselves.

faq
How long have you been doing art for?
My artsy endeavors became serious around 2012 when I began poking around with 3D, photography and image editing. 4 years later I got a graphic tablet and started drawing digitally.I was doing various SFW art by other nicknames up to 2022. Diverse stuff: painterly landscapes, 3D modeling, animation experiments, design, worldbuilding – whatever I felt like doing. That was fun~ Then I decided to try drawing furry porn! Tailbyte's official birthday is October 16, 2022~
What tools do you use?
I prefer free and open source software. The only paid program I use is Rebelle 5 (grabbed it on sale for $10), it's my primary painting program. Before that, I was using Krita. For secondary tasks, I use modded Paint.NET. All 3D stuff is done in Blender, and my choice for gamedev experiments is Godot. As for hardware, my graphic tablet is a simple Wacom's CTL-671, the very same tablet I got in 2016 when I started digital drawing. That's it, nothing fancy~
Can you teach me?
Nope! I may give a few tips to friends when they ask for input, but I don't want to teach anyone. I'm self-taught myself, and you can be your own teacher too! Art is not rocket science, and there's plenty of free educational resources available online~
Any other hobbies and interests?
Oh yeah, I'm excited about lots of stuff! Music, for one. I enjoy various genres, but especially those that can shock good christians: death, black, symphonic and other kinds of metal, dark electro, experimental stuff, plus a few outliers. I also occasionally make music myself using NanoStudio 1 on PC.I love all things nature in the broad sense and am curious about geology, botany, zoology, ecology, natural history and other natural sciences. Hiking is one of my favorite ways to unwind. I collect rocks, pinecones, shells and other pretty things~I'm also an occasional reader interested in non-fiction: the last 3 books I've read were "Cities for People" by Jan Gehl, "god is not Great" by Christopher Hitchens and "Anarchy Works" by Peter Gelderloos. My other significant interests include various kinds of design, craft and architecture.
Where are you from?
I have no straightforward answer to this question. I'm a free roaming animal – beyond nations, flags and borders. I grew up in the subarctic of Eurasia, then moved to the subtropics, and then moved to Argentina. I'm a kitty from Earth! The planet is all mine, muahaha! >:3
What Agender and Demi mean?
Agender simply means that I don't need any gender identity, be that laddie, lassie, or leprechaun. I can be called either as long as no dumb gender roles are imposed. Being agender also implies that I'm neither cis nor trans: while I don't identify with my assigned gender, I also didn't transition to any other one. Agender is not a gender identity, it's an absence of one.Demi is a more tricky one to explain as Demi persons experience it differently, so I can only speak for myself. In essence, for me to actually feel attracted to someone, two conditions must be met: we should vibe together nicely and match most of each other's preferences. There's nothing that limits other things though, like genders, number of partners or sex drive. Check out this resource for more info: demisexuality.org
Are you taken? Can I flirt?
I've been in a relationship for 7+ years. We're neither closed nor open, we're just not looking for any other relationships. I don't do random hookups, but I'm fine with online flirting and sexting as long as it's fun for both of us~
You could work in a game/animation studio!
Indeed I could, but I'm too feline to be employed. Stable income sure sounds nice, but freedom and flexibility worth more to me. Plus, big entertainment industry is overrated.I'm pretty happy with drawing furry smut~ It's nothing shameful, nor is it something inferior to fine art. On the contrary, furry yiff is a powerful artistic statement: a satire, an unhinged erotic fantasy, a big fuck you to conformist ways of sexual expression. It's great~
What's your worldview?
I've had experience with various ideologies, philosophies and religions, but chose not to follow any. They are all crap! Their first and biggest mistake is adherence to manifestos, dogmas, personas, institutions and laws - no surprise they all suck so badly~I don't want to over-define my worldview, but it doesn't mean that I don't have one. I'm a fluid freethinker: I appreciate flexibility, curiosity and autonomy; My spirituality is abstract and inspired by nature, universe and time; In practice, I live a decidedly non-conformist life.
